Who We Are

HISTORY:

SODES Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned, financial cooperative.  Our members elect a Board of Directors annually at the credit union's annual meeting.

SODES Federal Credit Union was chartered on June 13, 1953 to offer members a safe way of saving money and to enable them to obtain loans at reasonable interest rates. 

SODES Federal Credit Union is federally chartered and regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).  Members deposits are insured up to $250,000 per account by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF).

MEMBERSHIP:

SODES Federal Credit Union provides services to employees stationed in South Dakota One-Stop Career Centers, SD Department of Labor offices, and the following employees stationed in Aberdeen:  Career Planning Center, Bureau of Information and Technology, Department of Social Services, Department of Revenue, Department of Corrections and the Department of Health. National Guard Unit Alpha Battery First Battalion 147th Field Artillery.
